What Do the Dreams of a Neighborhood Sound Like?

Concert as Part of the TONALi Festival

During the TONALi Festival (June 28–July 3), singer Antonia Brinkers and saxophonist Daniel Calvo Valcarel, together with students from the Winterhude District School, will present an interdisciplinary concert at the MARKK. The focus is on the dreams and wishes of the people of Grindel—a Hamburg neighborhood with a unique historical and social character. Through the artistic collaboration between musicians and young people, a space for experience emerges in which utopian visions become tangible through music and performance. As part of the TONALi Stage Academy, the concert combines professional artistic practice with the active participation of young people and opens up new perspectives on the city, the neighborhood, and the future.
