Programs for Daycare Centers, School Classes, and Adult Groups
Groups & School Classes
Interactive, dialogue-based educational programs accompany our special and permanent exhibitions. These programs are designed for various age groups, starting with children ages four and up.
We offer guided tours (60 min) as well as discussions (90 or 120 min). Depending on the thematic focus, school type, and age of the participating children and teens, the discussions include a hands-on or discussion component.
TIP: Be sure to subscribe to our School Newsletter! It provides information about our current programs for groups and school classes.
Adults at the Museum
The MARKK offers adults numerous opportunities to learn more about our exhibitions, themes, and objects. Public, weekly guided tours are designed for adults. Independent docents lead visitors through the exhibitions, explain the background of the projects, and explore topics in greater depth. You can find the current dates in our calendar under Meet MARKK.
In addition, we offer a wide variety of guided tours of our special and permanent exhibitions for adults.
Self-Organized Groups
Would you like to visit with a group of ten or more people, or lead a group yourself on a non-commercial basis? Are you a teacher who wants to take your class on a tour of an exhibition?
Self-organized tours cost just €12.50 for the entire group (if participants are under 18) and include two adult chaperones!
NOTE: For school groups, MARKK opens its doors as early as 9 a.m.—one hour before regular opening hours—with advance registration!
